I now have my entire uniform for cheer, which is really cool because I don't have to wear the crappy old uniform anymore. I feel kind Xena warrior princess like (except for the fact that I am not a princess or a warrior nor am I skinny) due to the damn skirt not covering much.
I have to say that I really glad that January is almost over that mean I only have three months until M.D comes home and four months of school/ foster kid hell left. Its odd, all thirteen years I have spent in the foster care system I have only thought to get out and now that I am about to be eighteen it seems so surreal. It is almost as if it is not going to happen. I feel like the idea of not being a foster kid anymore is going to take some time to get used to. For so Long I have carried around that label and that burden but now when the time has drawn near to cast the label aside and claim for myself a new life I feel as though I will never quite reach that taunting dream of emancipation.
Who knows, a lot can happen in four months.
