Update after a surreal experience

This past couple of weeks have been stressful as well as rewarding. I was evacuated because of a fire and sent to G.O.R wow the abbreviation for it is gor. I find that funny simply because when we arrived the man in charge was all uptight and said "this is the thumbprint of god" so he expected us to behave because "god" was watching us and this was his thumbprint... well god and gore always have gone together in history haven't they?

I mean the whole stabbing holes into god's son and staring rather bloody/pointless "holy" wars in the name of gad...yup if that is not gore then I don't know what gore is... well there is Al Gore but that is an entirely different subject.

But this was not what I was originally talking about...

Anyway, I was evacuated and then I started freaking out thinking that my residential was going to burn. That was a fun little thought. Lots of stress there but I kind of had to pretend like it did not exist for Patch and my little sister's sake. I was more worried that if indeed that place did burn down to the ground that my chances for college would have slipped very close to zero. I have been dreaming and working too hard for a stupid fire to ruin my chances of going competitive. I know that I can get into a good college all I have to do is work my ass off.

Well M.D and her amazing parents saved me from having to deal with unwanted company. They have been wonderful to me and I owe them. I hope that I can do something to show how grateful I am. I really like it here everyone is so nice to everyone else and there is a strong sense of family something I sorely want. In a way I am kind of envious of M.D she has a really great family. Someone to hug when time are tough and even someone to be annoyed with when all you want is to be alone. Living through my experiences I have come to realize even how comforting it is just to know that your family is in the next room. I guess this is one of the reasons as to why I won't go to another foster home. I could not stand living with the people that had a great family it just made me feel so hollow.

I am honored that they have allowed me to stay with them for such an extended period.

I have gotten to wake up next to M.D for the past two weeks. Can you even fathom how great of a feeling I get when I see my loves face in the morning? It is an extremely great start to my day.
