What has come over me? This prevailing sinking feeling of depression. Here I am drowning in yesterdays fighting to keep up the all the millions of todays. I cant seem to think about tomorrow. I am losing sight of everything. I look into familiar faces and I have this great overwhelming feeling of disgust. Quivering, wavering in and out of existence this in between stage is doing nothing to keep my sanity. I cant even cry. Here we have reached the climax of my waiting point and I cant seem to see the ground that my face is soon to meet.
My head hits the concrete at fifty thousand feet. A wet splash against the blazing sun. Stained crimson, but no tears. Lifeless eyes stare off into the distance, open mouth for the leeching life of flies to consume the little fragments of your soul that are left behind. Its warm against my back, the inferno of the suns drying gaze. A resounding silence fills the air and then nothing, nothing.
I am lost.

But at twenty-two hundred feet, i caught you and carried you safely to the ground, craddling the pieces i gathered as they fell through the sky like rain.
i'll kiss your lips, filled as they may be with flies to keep your soul intact.
You're almost there.
I love you.
