Homophobic Doctor Visit

"Undress please"

"what?"

"Undress"

"why?"

"So the doctor can do the physical"

"why does that consist of me getting naked?"

"you wont be naked, just put this gown on but leave the back open."

"So I will be naked."

"what?...no you'll have the gown on"

"yeah but its back is open so I might as well be naked"(close to tears at this point)

"just put the gown on"(exits)

(horrible thoughts of the doctor touching places I so do not want her to touch run through my head a few tears fall and I undress)

"So, are you sexually active?"

"eerm..well..ahh...sort of"

(looks serious and slightly confused) "what do you mean by sort of?"

"Well, I'm..umm...not in a heterosexual relationship"

"Oh,...(long silence) embarrassing isn't it?"

(looks confused says nothing)

"well we don't have to talk about it I sure you'll get over it"

"what?"

"Well...(sits up strater) I am going to check your blood pressure and lungs now"

(thinks "what the fuck?")

(after this the doctor gets mean and starts treating me like crap)


and the humiliating physical continues...


On the up side there was this nurse Krystal who was really really sweet to me and she kept looking at me as though she knew that all the rest of the staff sucked monkey butt. She was cool. She went in the room after the doctor left and talked to me about school and music and stuff. She was neat even if she did walk me over to the laboratory to get my blood drawn.

On and all it was a crappy antiseptic filled doctor visit.
